Buying my first 911 had me feeling a little guilty bc no one in my family had ever had one i guess and my father always drove a simple work truck so to clear the air I asked him should I buy a used 1986 Porsche 911? (This was in 1998)
His reply really stunned me he said "Yes, they're made for racing so they're probably a very reliable car when simply driven on the street."
So I got the 3,2 and let him drive it and he hustled that car on his first try better than anyone I've driven with!! Like he'd been waiting his whole life to drive one. Sadly that car was totaled 13 years later.
