92 yesterday with heat index of 100. Of course...thats when the A/C decides to do the Amber Heard. Well, over 80 in the house. The dogs were getting quite hot. Put ice in their water dishes and dragged out a couple of fans. Repairman came out after 7pm. Found a wired that had shorted on the case. That got fixed, but the compressor was so hot that it wasnt functioning. It would need a long time to cool off. At this point it was cooler outside, so we opened all the windows and had a relatively comfortable night. I turned the A/C unit back on this morning and it is operating normally. Thank goodness !
