If I read these articles right, they're gonna measure the bouncing and if it's too severe (over a set limit), force the teams to increase ride height (and therefore lose performance). So in a way it's not a bad thing, teams who did the job right will not lose their advantage (and be able to ride lower and have more downforce)... Those who porpoised or bottomed out too much will likely get a ride height penalty and a degradation in performance... Probably not what Mercedes had in mind when they started this campaign...

Heard Christian Horner discuss this in FP1 or 2 today. Basically his position is this is garbage and will adversely impact the teams that have gotten it right and are not experiencing the issue. His version was different than yours. It sounds like an across the board mandate, so if one team is suffering then all will have to do the same thing to 'fix'.

I found myself agreeing with him.
