I've sat in a few, and despite the bottom and back usually being flat, they are surprisingly comfortable. I guess that's why they are so popular.

I'm actually going to save some of the pics. If I ever get a wild hair, I don't think it would be that tough to make somethink like that. Which is good since that's a $1k chair.
