If I get an Empath, I would get a stock one. I am thinking about an auditorium cut-away with spruce top and Zirocote back and sides. Peduk inlays in the cutaway and arm rest.
Don't laugh, but also considering a standard build with Cedar top. Not the prettiest wood out there by any stretch of the imagination, but soft smooth sound....
Here is the Guild. It is a lovely instrument.... Its a JF30. It was a gift from a friend with too many guitars...
