Well I did it... but there's a story.

In 2005, I got my son a bambino kart when he turned 5. This was a GX35 (weedwacker engine) powered race kart. He ran that thing for 2 years and mastered it completely, then my daughter ran it for a year.

I traded it for a KX65 dirtbike for my son. He rode that bike all of last year and I gave him an early birthday surprise last Saturday for his 12th birthday (this Sunday) - a KX85 dirtbike.

This morning, I traded the KX65 and $500 for a 2004 Cayenne S... it needs some work but is a great, inexpensive entry to these. I plan to do some minor repairs (including the coolant tubes) and use is as a daily driver and for farm chores.

This has 230000 kms on it and the engine doesn't appear to have a knock or tick so I think (hope) it has a good block.
