I will have my right hip replaced in very late August. I had my left hip replaced almost seven years ago.

This whole hip fiasco is due to me being t-boned on my bike when I was 20...guy ran a red light: I could have been an easy mort but it still irks me.

We live in a two story house. Last time was a sofa bed with pillows and pillows.

It was awful. This time I am planning on renting a hospital bed.

Does anyone here have any insight? I have done all the interwebs homework, which can be "wax on, wax off" in terms of the good and bad opinions.

I am looking for the practical aspects of having done it. The sofa bed extravaganza was an evening at the Opera I do not plan on repeating.

Any insight is appreciated. Bonus points and a handsome reward for any tips on rentals in the Mid-Atlantic.
