As we go into planting season, my Southern partners, please be aware that
the USA has an invading species of worm called the Hammerhead Worm and
they need to be killed ASAP.
They are indigenous to Southeast Asia and are currently in Alabama, Georgia
and parts of Florida and South Carolina.
Don’t cut it into 10 pieces cuz it will grow 10 more worms (they are immortal).
YOU MUST dissolve in salt and vinegar in a jar for a few days. You can also
freeze the worm if you’re not about to kill it alive before dissolving it.
DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH YOUR HANDS. They are believed to carry an
incredibly potent tetrodotoxin, which is also found in pufferfish. Use gloves
when handling, and do not make contact with your skin.
