I always had "no pets" in my leases.... but allowed them
. Had a longtime LEO tennant (atty wife) who had Blue Heelers.... being a dawg person, they loved me too... but they would (and did) bite on occasion. One bit the LEO's partner, and the other bit my cop tennant. But these were nips ... not viscious attacks. I've been in the middle of, and broken up my share of PB dog fights... btdt too many times. I actually asked here on PPOT about my personal liability regarding the Heelers... MRM pointed out that a "nip/bite" is not the same as a viscious dog attack .... other dog or human. I accepted the risks with those two Heelers. I would NOT accept the risks with a PB, Rottie, or Chow for example.... but that's just me. Good luck!
