Mounting Advice

Yes it’s about the TV box

Tackling pulley tomorrow.

Need to get the TV mount in place today.

I’ve got a TV mount that uses 3 lag bolts and holds 90 lbs.

Tv is 30 lbs plus the mount call it 35 lbs all in.

The brick in our homes is more facade than structural.

Between the brick and house sheathing there is a small air gap, maybe 1/4 in.

So, do i use the shorter silver lag bolts or the slightly too long black ones?

The mount plate and plywood on back of box are going to take up 3/16” plus a washer call it 1/4 in.

If i land the holes in one of the cavities i don’t have the full benefit of the silver lag do I? And does it even matter.

Or as i’m drilling if i don’t hit a cavity use the silver and if i do use the black.

Or am I overthinking the whole thing and some crazy glue and duct tape will git er dun
