During the 1930s, about half the population of the US smoked cigarettes.

Back in the day, Philip Morris added ethylene glycol to their cigarette tobacco in order to reduce the irritation of 'smoker's cough'. Yes, the same stuff that's found in antifreeze.

The most common street name in the US is 2nd Street.
