If you know someone in the US that has the car here, it’s easy to get a replacement title using the Vermont loophole.

So no-one should be too concerned, as long as there isn’t nefarious history, which I’m sure there isn’t on your car.
I wish I knew about this while I had my ‘75 911 as I sold it with no title after talking to the DMV about getting it through MN DMV. They wanted a bond for it valued at 3x the cars value in concours condition. As it was a project and prove it as such I was a little surprised.

Still a lot of money to sink into it to get it back on the road. But I guess $50k is a reasonable call for such a low miles potential car!
