Glad ya'all like the car.

To answer a few questions:

When I first bought the car 23 or so years ago the previous owner had the car taken down to bare metal and he repainted Stage One only in the original German Sepia Brown Acrylic Enamel paint. He strived for authenticity. I was not aware of this single stage (no CLEAR COAT) until I drove it in the rain and discovered a number of deep acid blotches penetrating the paint. It took several grades of abrasive polishes to get it out. Since then I have bought an all weather cover, carry a load of towels and never drive it in the rain or at least try to avoid it. Back in the early 70's there was no second stage clear coat. Rather they used Carnuba waxes like Blue Coral, Simoniz, Turtle Wax, etc. The only thing on this car that is not original is a Momo wheel and CD stereo system. Everything else on the car is 1973........

The top end was rebuild with "Nickie" pistons and cylinders which bumped up the compression from 7 to 8. The car does have more pep and acceleration. No changes to the fuel injection (new injectors) or air intake.
