Hello,

I have a 1984 944 which was running fine. I noticed the fuel tank to fuel pump line was leaking. I had PP send me a new one. Pulled the car into the service area, swapped in the new hose, and started the car. It ran for about 20 - 30 seconds before sputtering out. Now it will not start or give any hint of interest in starting. And the only thing I changed was that 12 inch hose. I checked the lines to the fuel pump to make sure that I did not dislodge anything and looked for other cues without finding anything.

I'm thinking my next step is to jump the fuel pump with 12volts to get it running then try again. Just hard to believe that the relay or fuel pump picked this exact moment to die out, so want to be sure that I am not missing anything obvious.
