Doh, yea it ain't a tee, just an elbow.
I would have had to dig a much bigger hole to use the slipfix. And the area was full of tree roots, and not been good for the tree. And it would really suck digging in that area.
I wanted to disturb as little as possible. And I really did not want to go to the store.
