Lol, yep same here.
I have a older set of Peltor ComTac that I bought years ago. Best hearing protection and when indoors next to rifle guys I also double up. These are crazy expensive now but have been the best, being water proof and if you wanted can hook up a iPhone to it to listen to music.
**Tip, when at ranges I always….repeat…always wear mine backwards! That way you can always hear what is going on behind you. Situational awareness at the range is critical and being able to hear guys talking behind you helps. And this usually doesn’t ever effect hearing what is in front of you for those time your not shooting and just bs’ing.
