If they seem a little crazy from the get-go, those are probably safe. That's probably the crazy that you're getting into, and you are aware of it. If they are really crazy, then you've probably just peeled back a layer or two of that onion, and they'll get more and more concentrated as you continue to peel. If they seem perfectly sane with no issues, proceed cautiously. They may be a unicorn, but more likely, they have something REALLY scary lurking that they know they have to thoroughly hide to lure in potential victims.
