Lots of potential there if you can swing a wrench or 3.
The only thing that puts me off a little is the rear arches. They look a little ‘Carrera’ stretched to me. Might be just the angle of the pictures though.
I’m just getting quotes for my ‘68 912 SWB coupe to be painted. Just to give some reference, it pretty much rust free (had a little in the pans but has been fixed) and will have one panel welded in as a ‘just in case’ and not wanting to patch it.
$24k and 12 to 14months. That is with new gaskets and windows out etc. bare metal as it’s had one respray in its life which didn’t age well…
I think that’s pretty fair all told for a not show quality but top driver car.
