Dropped my Moto G6 smartphone on the sidewalk last winter. With a plastic case, it held together well...even with a shattered back cover. It still works great..even with the bulging body.
I use TracFone unlimited plan and don't wish to switch phones or plans.
My question is...if I buy the same phone off of ebay, can I just remove my sim card and plug it into the new phone. Being a couple years old, I can find one for less than $50 unlocked.

Or, should I just look for a cheaper used Moto G6 and swap back covers? Is that hard to do? (I've never tried it before.)
