Well, there were a lot of Dems who did not feel comfortable with Dean. He was good with the passion, but when push came to shove, I think people realized Bush would take him to the woodshed in no time.
Kerry is more formidable, so The Administration will have to do some work to beat him in November. Dean would have been a walk in the park, I believe.
