With all due respect to Capt and Won, who really do F1 for a living, I say only semi tongue in cheek that I could do a better job for calling the strategy for the Scuderia. Capt assured me that in addition to the trackside staff, Maranello has a room.for of engineers back at the factory poring over every aspect of telemetry to tell them what to do when. OK, that's great there are all those engineers doing so. But **someone** on the team has to be a racer with a feel for the pulse for what's going on in front of their eyes on the track.
To vascillate on whether or not (and when) to make that second stop, and then finally call in Sainz to box as he's actually 1) in the process of finally passing the car in front, and 2) just as he's coming onto the front straight (heck, could you guys have figured this out about 10 seconds and 2 corners ago, before the pit entrance?) Is just so disorganized and embarrassingly amateur.
