All three are in the two to two and a half pound range. No tuning, no lightened springs, none of that. That good right out of the box. Crisp as can be as well. Better than any new Colt SAA, which I always go through and tune, along with installing Wolfe spring kits with reduced hammer springs and music wire trigger/bolt springs. Unlike the "two screw" Rugers, there is no transfer bar to lift when the trigger is pulled, so the pulls are much better than the Rugers.

Funny you would say that about your 686. My S&W's have about the best factory trigger pulls I've ever seen. My Python is right up there with them, and all are better than anything possible in any single action. The geometry, leverage, hammer fall, and all of that are superior in those double actions, leading to inherently better trigger pulls. I wonder what's up with your 686...
