Yep, I’m with you there.
What’s cool about Japan is you can find tiny little restaurants, some of them only seating three or four people at a time, and the guy behind the grill focuses on just one single thing. Any yakitori restaurant can get you chicken skin but it’s these little specialty places that are the coolest.
You can wander down a small Tokyo, going from one to the next, drinking a beer at each one, until you’re blotto.
