*Update* since these photos were taken: The upper rad hose that goes from the thermostat to the water pump split. It has been replaced with a black OEM hose. The rear half of the center console has been replaced with one that doesn't have holes drilled into it from a previous owner's car phone mount.

I've spent the past 2 years fixing this car up to be an amazing daily driver and it is. I just need to let it go now. There's the assortment of rock chips and body dings that you'd expect with a 33-year-old car and the clear coat is peeling off the passenger fender. But the paint cleans up well, there's only surface rust in the normal locations, and the hard top seals WORK. If this listing is still posted the car is still available.

Highlights

1989 BMW 325i Convertible, finished in Cinnabar Red with a black hardtop, a black soft-top, and a black interior.

Factory equipment: 14-inch alloy wheels, fog lights, a manually-folding soft top, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, sport seats, cruise control, power windows, air conditioning, ABS, BMW Premium Speakers with an amplifier, and an on-board computer.

Modifications include a 5-speed manual transmission swap with a new Flywheel and clutch, an R134a-converted air conditioning system, re-upholstered leather seats with red stitching, a black-dyed headliner, a keyless entry system, Bluetooth head unit.

Power comes from the “M20" 2.5-liter inline-6, rated at 168 horsepower and 164 lb-ft of torque. Mileage is 173,xxx miles, 3.91 Rear Diff

Flaws

Clearcoat is peeling on the passenger front fender, rock chips on the hood, and a small scrape in the rear fender. A crack in the dashboard has been repaired so it won't grow. The soft top has some tears in the normal wear points.

Service History

June 2022 (173,275 miles): Rear subframe mounts, transmission rear output shaft seal, transmission mounts, rear differential mount, and shifter parts replaced; alignment performed.

May 2022 (172, 723 miles): Timing belt replaced, Water pump replaced, Head gasket replaced, Header-back exhaust system installed, Brakes replaced, Tires replaced, Various engine belts, gaskets, and hoses replaced.

February 2022 (172,530 miles): Clutch, clutch release arm, and spring, clutch pivot pin, rear crankshaft seal, starter motor, shifter rod seal, shift lever bushings, driveshaft flex joint, driveshaft, master and slave hydraulic cylinders.
