Listen, Capitalism isn't lost on me. My sense is there's a 1/8 to 1/4 ground they could have leaned toward. Maybe there's not. But even a token gesture would be appreciated by many.

Why not similarly complain about the cost of a ticket to Disney World or similar?
An executive's fiduciary duty is to make a profit for shareholders. Competition sets the balance. When government actively keeps out competition (for whatever reason), the existing players will always profit.
