First, I made a lot of bad decisions in this deal, I'll throw that out there. When we sold our RV we also had a boat parked on the same property. I don't have a contract, this is a handshake deal that I've had since 2016.
We sold the RV earlier this year with the help of this forum. The boat remained. Sometime during the pandemic we switched banks and the auto pay we setup stopped. MY FAULT. In May I went to check on the boat and it was blocked in. I worked out a deal for back rent at 24 moths for 2k. I have a receipt for this.
So, last Friday I asked to have the boat "unblocked." We had an email conversation about still owing more money, fine tell me how much. All communication has no stopped. Either they don't want to remove the blockage or who knows what. I have a bulldog of a lawyer, and all of the receipts. How long would you all let this go on before you call the lawyer?
Again, this is all my fault on a lot of levels, but I did pay the 2k in May to square up. Here you can see why it's blocked.
