I have been wanting to switch the 195/15's on my 1975 914 to a smaller size for the past year. Last weekend I had a set of 175/65 - 15's (Nexen) installed by a local dealer. What a change in the feel of the car. I have never been a fan of larger tires on any machine I drive, including my DD (F150). The vehicle was designed for a specific tire size and making any changes is just wrong in my .02 Every new vehicle I have owned has always gotten the same make/size as came on the vehicle when new.
