When I attended the USGP at the brickyard in 2000 (the year it started back up), I flew into Detroit as a guest of my friend Steve Shanks and then we drove down in his BMW. His son and another buddy also came along. It was a fantastic time.
I'll never forget Steve mentioning the difference in Indiana drivers and Michigan drivers as we traversed between the two states.
He was right - the Michigan drivers had their act together more than those Hoosiers!
