I have asked RH the same question regarding the pedal. They are great with answering questions. They advised:
With you using a LS7 crate engine I would recommend going with a floor mounted pedal setup but if you wanted to use the "Hinge" style accelerator pedal it can be done. With the floor mounted pedal setup we can provide the pedal, the bracket, and the harness extension for it as well.
