I realise I'm a bit late to this conversation but I've had some success in 3D printing a G-model tail light housing. My car has had 964 light buckets welded in (which I didn't want to remove as they actually provide superior protection against stones and debris) so off the shelve tail lights no longer fit. By no means a top-quality product but considering I'm new to the 3d printing I'm pretty happy.
