Thought I might post pics of one of my garage walls. I have been hanging on to these prints since the mid-1980s. I finally framed and displayed them. Some are signed by famous folks associated with the particular aircraft.
This last one is a bit unique...it is a drawing created by Alex Raymond. He was assigned to document my FILs Marine air squadron due to the fact that they were some of the first trained for close ground support. They flew TBMs. Alex had achieved fame as the creater of Flash Gordon, and he joined the Marines during WWII. He also designed their squadron patch - VMTB-143 Rocket Raiders on the USS Gilbert Islands.
