The ears on the shields of my classic Craftsman Block grinder were about to break off.
Time for Gramps to take action!
I used very thin plywood to reinforce the ears, epoxy was used for the bond.
Masked and ready for a coat of rattle can aluminum spray paint in the hopes of matching the look of the tool, at least somewhat.
Repair complete, I charged myself nothing for my time, all materials and supplies were on hand, so the effort involved has no value!
