I appreciate all the replies. Lots of ways to go about this. I will probably get a machine shop to grind down my wrench like the center one in the picture posted by boyt911sc. I don’t have a grinder. Have been happy with the custom tools shops have made for me in the past.
When I had tugged on the blue insulators by hand they felt very snug. Decided to leave them alone.
