The Carrera pumps seem to be the original design still. I bet they put out the same pressure as an SC pump, just the pressure regulator knocks it down to around 36# for the 3.2. I'm going to install one on my '79 and then check system pressure to find out. the carrera number is 69 483 and they also have an extended nose so you can get a wrench on that check valve hex.
