I have found most 'oil free' compressors have not lasted long, other than my portable dewalt.
My next compressor is going to be one of the 'quiet' ones.
If you really need the CFM, they have a quiet one for $100 more.

With powerful battery tools, I haven't flipped on the big IR compressor in a long time, and use the smaller portable Dewalt. I just keep it for bead blasting.
Do you have tools that need that much air?
