Gee, all it does is rain, all month it has been raining!

No complaints, it is not much of a rain but just a light drizzle and we are only up to .14 inches so far. A good soaking rain, I wish it would keep it up for a week, but that ain't gonna happen.

I started getting weird problems with my AV system. The Tivo DVR box feeds to the surround sound multimedia amp and then back to the TV and also off to my speakers. I started losing the video, then the strangest of all was a message from the Tivo that the HDMI cable was unauthorized. It had been in place for years.

I scratched my head, and did some online research. I ordered 4 new HDMI 2.2 cables with Ethernet and all the latest specs. Bingo, that fixed the issues. Bizarre. The cables are cheap and not too hard to replace.

I can just push a button on the amp's remote and change from the new current Tivo box and watch regular TV or anything recorded. Or I can switch to the security system's cameras and look at at my yard, which is pretty boring. Old another button to go to the Apple TV box. MY DVD player is so old and unused, I have pulled it from the cabinet and will take it to the recycle place. If I have a DVD to watch I will use my computer. It even plays Blue Ray and has decent speakers and a sub woofer.
