I had an 2005 997 S, hard top. Absolutely loved it.

I don't have much to say outside of the obvious:
- You are entering the murky world of IMS issues.
- Obviously do a full monty on the fluids.

I had a fault with mine that was covered under CPO warranty, a rattle in one of the exhausts. Sound like a minor issue, but the S (sorry, don't recall the details) has a sport exhaust that has adjustable baffles inside the can. Non servicable. So if that goes wrong, not cheap. Obviously there after market options.
