Seahawk,
We were flying the aircraft that were marked with civilian N numbers, some were destined for Tyndall or white sands and others were shipped back to AMARC for parts.
Not sure which was a better fate for them.
We were trained at Mojave and at Miramar in their survival poo,l Dunk tank, Ejection seat rail and the Altitude chamber.
Joining us (all in full flight gear) in the survival pool were members from the 13th. MEU Being older / heavier I would float a lot better than they would so I passed that part no problem, trouble came to me in the inverted dunk tank, They would drop to the ceiling and I would float to the floor and had to get a mighty push with my legs to make it out the door all under the watchful eye of the rescue divers, I was thankful and I'm sure they were that I did not have to be rescued.
