It is not a muffler, just an tip on my stock muffler. There is decorative tip on there now. It just taps on as a real tight fit. I just had to tap it off, and slide this on, and clamp it down. I was told that the stock 911 muffler is only too loud at 6,000+ RPM and under full load, and just a little too loud. So turning the sound down to the ground was enough. I never really worried about it. It would be interesting to see if it really makes a difference in total decibels or not. I figured it weight about a pound, and was easy enough to pack. You can see where the paint was burned off. It hangs on the wall near the ceiling in my garage. It has not been used since 2014.
