I do remember my engine screaming at full throttle in 5th gear at high 5,000s of RPM and lots of wind noise on Charlotte Super-speedway. They required us to run with windows down, and at 130+ MPH it was loud.
My big claim to fame was passing a 911 GT2 on track in the infield. The owner's wife was driving it, and her goal was no damage to the car, so she was not pushing hard. But still, I passed a GT2 on track!
