I wanted to check out the Blazecut so I ordered a 6 foot version in black, which for some reason seemed hard to locate (only white seems to be available now). It's a pretty ingenious system but it is a little tricky to position out of sight in the engine bay, as it has a limited bending radius.

I think the most effective location is a loop on the inside of the engine bay lid, and I made it into an oval that I was able to test-attach to the engine grill studs using some cushioned stainless clamps. You can also loop it around the perimeter of the engine bay and tie one end across the tabs for the engine pad.

Really draws your eye on the engine lid, so you have to not care how it looks.

I had some time on my hands waiting for my heads to come back from the machine shop, so I ended up installing a fire suppression setup with a pull in the cockpit. That just seems like a better idea: far more volume (FE-36), you can decide when to pull it after you have killed the fuel and battery and pulled over, etc.

If anyone wants the Blazecut let me know. I paid $250, but happy to pass it along to someone for $150.
