I've often wondered how many posting on Baz's college football thread are gamblers. Me personally? Nope, not a gambler. But that does make me odd man out when pool tournaments and money matches are streaming. There, it's honor system gambling, with the word quickly spreading about "airballers", those who make a bet & don't pay. A portion of those find themselves physically injured...

(edit) Casino sports betting won't cover pool tournaments. This because when a casino hosted a tournament some decades ago, had betting on it, and odds were posted. Some of the players looked at the tournament prize amounts, looked at the odds posted...and miracle of miracles, the long shot player won! No way the Casino could prove anything, but yeah..painfully obvious that the fix was on. Some top pros really shot themselves in the foot on that one because they could only think short term.

Those who gamble on other games/sports shouldn't feel immune. Any and all sports can be and have been rigged.
