Which car, Rick?
I like the map apps to be as close to my sight line as possible.
For my Tundra I have a really nice (not cheap) metal phone holder that screws into the top of the a/c vent so you can set the phone high and have 2/3's of the a/c circulating from that vent. Specialty item for Tundra's.
It also gives me a great sight line.
For the LC, another specialty holder, not as nice, that fits into a void on my vintage LC.
