Have tried a couple and currently use this one.

It's stainless steel so easy to clean.

Uses a standard fish tank pump which is the only real wear item and can be sourced from a million places for $10.00.

Not like they die often but I had a fountain earlier that lost a plastic gear you can't get so the whole thing was trash.

Filters are cheap and a box of 12 should last a year depending on how many cats are using it.

I don't use the foam filter, it gets nasty and the charcoal filter is all you need.

It's quiet unless it runs low on water then you get some cavitation but I refill every morning and it's no issue.
