Let's see some photos of your Cobra?
Did you have the Cobra in San Diego?
Yeah you'll need wrist restraints and use just your big toe on the gas pedal.

My buddy had a Cobra with big side pipes.
Funny at a stop light the leaves were being stirred, the exhaust was acting like a 4 inch diameter leaf blower.

Another buddy with a lifetime of racing experience built this car but sold it quickly, too light and too much power.

We love going to Road America for the vintage races. Everything from Can Am to Trans Am to F1 and Indycar. Honestly it is the GT40 that gives me goose bumps from the exhaust sound, but watching the winged wonders come down at 200 plus, practically stop at turn 5 and go up 4 gears over the hill to turn 6 is impressive. Some of the older cars shift once up and then right back down. Been to San Diego Festival of speed a few times when I lived out there.

If only RA was close to my location.
SD Festival of speed was a small airport track but I enjoyed it.
It was close but if I had to tow for hours it would of been less appealing.
First year in the 911 was fun chasing this LeMans history 911.
He had a shifting issue on the back straight and I nearly shot off track to avoid him.
It happened again on the next lap and we drag raced straight towards a tire wall.
I thought wow pretty brave in such a valuable car and then I lifted.

That day had terrible front brake shudder you can see in the steering wheel.
Another year we had a wicked start and I cut the first turn and avoided a pile up.
Last year 2016 I had the field by 2 seconds and the second fastest qualifier after a short discussion agreed to put on good show with point by passes till the last lap when I tried to drive away.
My wife was riding in the pace car for the start of the race, fun day.
