Did it look anything like this ? (mine are a mirror image of that). Generally it's one eye only.

Started out slightly off centre of vision in the left eye and looked very much like the photo in the quote above. After time it spread out from centre and became less pronounced and less sharp.
Good advice to get checked out. It has been a while since my eyes were checked.
