Then one day, I drove down a road that I'm guessing one got hit on very soon before I drove by or maybe had been pestered by a dog/coyote very near the road that I drove down. Holy moly, that smelled bad (and it wasn't remotely a direct hit!). I get it now, I can't even imagine the stink of a direct hit. It's interesting that at a low enough dose not only is it not bad, but it's actually a little sweet smelling.
