I lived and breathed every single detail of that build for years and wouldn't change a single thing - including selling it.
I'm now free to move onward and upward, using the tools, skills, experience and knowledge I've gained - all that stays with me even though the car is gone.
I've learned a lot about drives me - I need a technical challenge, and a creative outlet. A project like that more than fulfills (for me) the need to calculate, design, build, and create something (hopefully) really cool, desirable, and, as it turns out, valuable.
With any luck the next one will be even better! For one thing I think I can make it a bit lighter. Do I dare shoot for 1999 pounds dry?
