Years ago I got an email from a Russian woman who found me on a Porsche website. My guess is she thought $$$$$

So, I played along with back and forth emails for a few months. The sob stories got more and more descriptive and elaborate over time. She told me what a great cook and homemaker she was.

Then one day I get an email from her "friend" saying that poor Galina was arrested. The police are accusing her of pickpocketing someone on a bus, but of course she is innocent.

Can I please wire $10K ASAP to get her out of jail. I said since I had fallen in love with her I would gladly go to Russia, hire a lawyer and take care of it personally.

No more emails about her famous cooking. Oh well.
