Be careful with that. Out here in California if it tested positive they will euthanize any of your other pets that may have came in contact with it. I found a dead bat once and tried to do the right thing by calling animal control to have it tested and the first thing they tried to do was take all of our pets. Fortunately the bat tested negative.
The worst part is that in order to obtain an accurate test result, the animal must be killed to secure a brain sample, so they would basically put down all of your pets take a brain sample and then say "oops sorry" you pet didn't test positive after all.
